I'm still pizza-shy in Brazil after an experience on my previous trip. I was in Ubatuba, SP and had ordered a pizza. Instead of mozzarella cheese, they had used ordinary cheese. It was so salty that I had to separate the cheese from the rest of the toppings to get something to eat. When I tossed some of the leftover cheese to seagulls they wouldn't touch it.
So you might want to be wary of dishes like spag bol in Brazil.
